Tracey Mallett
Tracey Mallet is an international fitness icon to millions of moms and working women across the world. A Master Pilates instructor, personal trainer and co-owner of ATP Specific Training, she’s also the author of Super Fit Mama, Sexy in 6 and the star of over 17 exercise videos including the award winning 6 Minute QuickBlast Method and 3 in 1 Pregnancy System. Her personal mission is to use the knowledge she’s gained through her own personal experiences to help people find their self-esteem, become self-motivated and make healthy choices for themselves and their loved ones.
Tannis Kobrinsky
BASI Pilates certified Tannis Kobrinsky began ballet studies at 4. By 16 she was dancing and teaching dance and movement professionally in California. She majored in Theater at California State University Northridge and UCLA. She’s taught movement and fitness for over thirty years and been on staff at ATP since 2000. She’s also certified in GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS®. In 2003 Tannis founded Health Habtiravels (www.healthabitravels.com) and since then has organized and led Pilates retreats and travel programs in the USA, Europe, Mexico, Central and South America. Very much a people person, Tannis loves teaching both individuals and groups. And she a writer, with articles published in Pilates Pro, American Fitness, Yogitimes and Pilates Style magazines.
Aimee Worth
Aimee has been a dancer since the age of 4. With concentration in ballet and modern dance. She has taught ballet to all ages, nutrition for the active young dancer, fitness, and belongs to several Southern California dance companies over the years. She continues her education by graduation with a certificate in Pilates from Body Arts and Sciences International in 2004-05. In 2006, she took teaching Pilates a step further by completing the Pilates Method Alliance Teacher designation test. She looks forward to any modalities in the art of movement of the learning body and mind.
Julie Gateas
Julie has been in the fitness industry for more than 20 years. A former triathlete, fitness instructor and personal trainer. Julie really enjoys teaching Pilates now in her “semi retirement”. Pilates has kept her strong, flexible and injury free. She is currently training for the 2010 Life Cycle AIDS Ride, San Francisco to Los Angeles – 545 miles in 7 days.
Julie Lockhart
Julie Lockhart is a movement artist who has been exploring the expressive potential of the human body for the better part of her adult life. As a Pilates instructor, she strives to help people have a deeper intellectual and kinesthetic understanding of their own bodies through the method. She holds a bachelors of science in theatre from Northwestern University and a comprehensive certification in the Pilates method from BASI.
Supatra Hanna
Supatra trained with the prestigious Body Arts & Sciences certification program under the tutelage of Rael Isacowitz and Tracey Mallet. She has a background in the performing arts and continues to pursue her craft as an actor, writer and producer. A Pilates trainer for over seven years, she has a roster of dedicated and loyal clients
Stacey Hansen
In her career as a Pilates professional since 1989, Stacey Hanson has designed programs for fitness, dance, sports, rehabilitation and academic settings. She is certified as a Pilates Trainer in four separate Pilates Certification Alliances and holds two degrees B.A Dance, and B.Ed. Body Arts and Science International (BASI) offers a college level learning environment for the professional seeking a thorough education in the Pilates Method. Being invited to join BASI in the USA as Director of Educational Development led her to travel and continue to teach, as part of the faculty, nationally and internationally as a BASI Master Trainer since 1998. Stacy now lives as a permanent resident in Los Angeles.
Deborah Rosen
Deborah is a Dancer, Choreographer, Dance/Pilates Instructor, and Booty Barre Instructor. She has been teaching Pilates for both Mat and Apparatus for the past nine years. She trained through the Pilates Method Alliance and the PhysicalMind Institute, has a minor in Dance and Bachelors in Business Administration from California Polytechnic University, Pomona. Deborah has been on the staff at ATP since 2000. She takes pride in providing her clients a well balanced workout experience, and has the ability to modify and tailor each exercise/workout per individual needs. Most recently and in addition to teaching Pilates at ATP, she has been invited and trained under the supervision of Tracey Mallett to teach our newest fitness training program: “Booty Barre”; a full body workout blending Ballet, Modern Dance Forms, Pilates/Yoga, and includes a kick of cardio.
Rebekah Davidson
Rebekah Davidson has been a BASI Certified Pilates Instructor through Rael Isacowitz since 2004. She teaches mat and reformer work in gyms, Pilates studios, colleges and universities. She started in the fitness field as an American Counsel on Exercise (ACE) Certifies Personal Trainer at the Reebok Sports Club in New York City as well as The Sports Club in Los Angeles. She also has certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Kane School of Core Integration, Maternal Fitness and is a current member of the Pilates Method Alliance. Rebekah has worked at several Pilates studios in the Long Beach and Pasadena areas. She originally got into the world of fitness to support her dance habit. But now with a B.F.A. in Dance from U.T. Austin and an M.F.A. in performance and choreography from CSULB, she teaches dance, choreography, Pilates and dance conditioning at Cerritos College, the La Canada YMCA and ATP!
