bootybarre is a fun, energetic, workout that fuses techniques from Dance, Pilates, and Yoga that will tone, define and chisel the whole body. Designed by Tracey Mallett the owner of ATP Fitness and now found in over 20 countries with 7000 plus instructors, it is the perfect combination of strength and flexibility with an added cardiovascular element utilizing the barre.
A fun high energy fusion class, combining Pilates, Dance, Yoga with Cardio Intervals at the barre. A well-structured, easy-to-follow class, choreographed into blocks for total muscular balance of the body and perfect flow. bootybarre® PLUS is low impact that’s performed to the beat of the music and burns mega calories.
bootybarre® Flex & Flow
A fusion class, that is based on the Pilates principles with movements inspired from exercises on the reformer or trapeze table. The class is performed to the beat of the music utilizing a band for strength training and total body sculpting. Unlike bootybarre plus there are NO cardio intervals, the class is steady state.
bootybarre® was conceived and developed by the owner of ATP Specific Training a celebrity fitness expert, Tracey Mallett. Shape and Fitness Magazine awarded bootybarre® the workouts of the month and has been featured in Self, Redbook, Cosmopolitan, Health, Oxygen, Womens Health, Prevention and many more.
What is the general format of the class?
You will start with a warm-up, then perform an upper body work out with light dumbbells. Next, you experience a total bodybarre workout, finishing with deep sculpting abdominal work. Plus, burn a whole lot of calories burned.
How long is the class?
The bootybarre is 55 minutes long and will start and finish on time due to the nature of how the studio classes are scheduled.
How many classes do you suggest a week?
For best results it’s recommended to take at least 2-4 classes a week.
What age range is this class designed for?
The bootybarre is for all ages from teenagers to soccer moms to baby boomers look at the level of the class listed on the schedule.
Who teaches the classes?
All bootybarre teachers have been trained and approved by Tracey Mallett the creator. They also all hold either a Pilates certification and/or a personal trainer certification.
